Description
Prolicht is an Austrian company specializing in the design and manufacture of architectural lighting fixtures. The founder, engineer and lighting designer Walter Norz, started the company in 1993 in Götzens, in the Alps of the Austrian Tyrol. The early years of the business are devoted to research and development, with a focus on store lighting and the development of special solutions for architects. 2002 marks Prolicht's debut to the general public, with participation in Light + Building, where the company presents lighting systems composed of minimalist aluminum profiles. In 2006 Prolicht stands out, again at Light+Building, for its revolutionary Neverending ceiling and wall profile system. With its flexible production approach coordinated with the research and development department, Prolicht is able to come up with customized solutions and establish itself in the hospitality, office, commercial, and residential sectors. The company produces only to order and takes care of all stages, from raw material to finished product, in order to ensure the highest quality. The Prolicht catalog includes about 6,000 customizable and configurable fixtures, including light sources, with choices of LEDs, fluorescent tubes and discharge lamps. Today, the company is present in more than 70 countries and boasts an extensive and efficient distribution network.
