Description
Since 1852 the Swedish Hästens has been manufacturing handcraft beds and mattresses which quality is acclaimed all over the world. Hästens beds have gained popularity in the first place for the precious fabrics, the exclusive upholstery and the handmade seams. Hästens mattresses, held by a structure in pine wood, accommodate on the inside a multi-layer composition made of horsehair, wool cotton and linen. A combination of natural materials that contributes to arase the electrostatic charge collected by the human body during the day. Due to their manufacturing uniqueness, these luxury beds have been for decades the choice of actors, politicians, athletes and aristocrats, such as the Swedish royal family, whose Hästens has been the official provider since 1952. This bond was sealed in 2017 with the start of the collaboration with the Bernadotte & Kylberg design studio – set up by Oscar Kylberg and the Prince of Sweden, Carl Philip Bernadotte – and announced at the Salone del Mobile 2018.
